Dr. Budaj previously worked as an instructor with a few higher education institutions across the United States, including the Georgia Institute of Technology, Southern New Hampshire University, Chattahoochee Technical College, Iowa Central Community College, and Trine University.
Dr. Budaj worked as a Study Abroad Coordinator for several years while teaching with Chattahoochee Technical College and as a TV and Web Operations Coordinator at Georgia Institute of Technology. She has won awards for teaching excellence and scholarship and has published in several journals.
Dr. Budaj has volunteered with Cincinnati based organizations such as Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly to help deliver meals and donations to local residents in the Cincinnati area.
Working with students reminds Dr. Budaj of how much she enjoys being an educator. Their individual stories, unique perspectives, and desire to learn all bring joy to her job. Dr. Budaj ‘s favorite part of her job is the community of people. Between supportive faculty and staff to her students, people make her job great.
Dr. Budaj has a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a Humanities & Culture major from Union Institute and University, a Master of Humanities, Communication degree from Tiffin University, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Kennesaw State University.
Dr. Budaj adores being outside, visiting with friends and family, and travel.
