Ashley Lissimore is an Associate Professor at Joyce University

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Ashley Lissimore has taught at the postsecondary level since 2016. She has taught at multiple schools with both online and in-person formats and has worked with a diverse range of students.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY 

Ashley’s favorite part of working with students is when she can help students go from feeling stressed or confused about a topic to being confident in their understanding through a conversation. She genuinely enjoys knowing that her students will become healthcare professionals, so watching them become successful is very satisfying.

EDUCATION

Ashley Lissimore graduated from the College of Charleston in 2014 with her BA in Biology. In 2020 she earned her MS in Biology from Clemson University. 

PERSONAL INTEREST

Ashley Lissimore enjoys traveling, especially back to Hawaii where she grew up. She also enjoys completing jigsaw puzzles, spending time with her family, and attending Broadway shows.
