Dr. Bustamante teaches pharmacology at Joyce University.

Dr. Bustamante has a background in pharmacology, clinical psychiatry infectious diseases, and functional medicine. She currently works in behavioral health and emergency medicine.
Dr. Bustamante worked as a preceptor and mentor for pharmacist clinicals and volunteer to see patient at a low-income family medicine clinic.
Dr. Bustamante loves learning with her students and getting to know what they are passionate about. She teaches medications in a fun way that makes the material stick.
Dr. Bustamante holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Doctorate of Pharmacy, and a Ph.C. in Physical Assessment from the University of New Mexico and CFMS in functional medicine.
Dr. Bustamante loves to workout at the gym with her son, enjoy the outdoors with her two dogs, and practice her faith.
