Lindsay Ramsey has worked at the University of Utah as a clinical instructor, where she loved facilitating post clinical discussions.
Lindsay Ramsey began her nursing career in 2012, when she worked in a mental health facility with teens at risk for self-harm and suicide. Since then, she has worked in multiple ICUs and as a school nurse, where she helped medically fragile students with tracheostomies and at-home ventilators.
Lindsay Ramsey enjoys finding ways to blend nursing and community care, which she did during her last role as a school nurse. During 2020 she worked with the Utah Health Department to administer COVID vaccinations and provide community education.
Lindsay Ramsey loves working with students and helping them connect all the pieces of nursing. She finds it gratifying to see her students apply learned concepts into their work. She loves helping her students understand nursing processes, learn new topics, and conquer fears so that they can become successful nurses.
Lindsay Ramsey has an Associate of Science from Broadview University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University.
In her free time, Lindsay Ramsey enjoys spending time with her kids, going to movies, crocheting amigurumi dolls, and cross-stitching.
