Dr. Jaelynn Hall is an Associate Professor.
Dr. Jaelynn Hall has been a nurse educator since 2020. Before working at Joyce University, she taught at Trinity Valley Community College, the University of Texas at Tyler, Keiser University, and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Dr. Hall began her nursing career in 2019 working as a hospital float, gaining extensive experience in the perioperative unit. This unit was a catch-all for ICU step down, telemetry/cardiac, neuro, pre/post operative, and pediatrics. During the COVID-19 outbreak, she worked as a travel nurse.
Dr. Jaelynn Hall belongs to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, the National League for Nursing, and the National Student Nurses Association.
Dr. Hall has extensively mentored students at UT-Tyler and Kaiser. She has also served on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access groups, and has published on advocacy in nursing and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
She has volunteered with Love in Action, Hope House, and Jacksonville, Florida’s Community Outreach to Minorities program.
Dr. Jaelynn Hall enjoys connecting with and learning about students and is passionate about cultivating a safe, inclusive space for active learning opportunities. She loves listening to student stories about their path to nursing and their “why.”
Dr. Jaelynn Hall has an Associate of Science from Navarro College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Tyler, and a doctor in nursing with a focus on nursing education from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Hall enjoys family time, flower gardens, and landscaping design.
