Dr. Wilson is a nursing instructor and the Joyce University medical-surgical course lead.
Dr. Wilson has been a nursing educator since 2011. She has taught online and in-person clinical, simulation, and didactic courses.
Dr. Jennifer Wilson has been a nurse since 1996. She has clinical experience in medical-surgical, step-down, and ambulatory care. She has also worked as a travel nurse.
Dr. Jennifer Wilson belongs to Sigma Theta Tau International.
Dr. Jennifer Wilson enjoys providing a safe, open learning environment where students can grow and be successful. She values nursing’s dynamic nature because it means that she’s always learning. She also loves seeing when students truly comprehend the ways they can impact their patients’ lives and the future of healthcare. She likes seeing students’ self-confidence grow.
Dr. Jennifer Wilson has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Liberty University, a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix, a graduate certificate in leadership in simulation instruction and management from Robert Morris University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Waynesburg University.
More than anything, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending as much time as possible with her daughter and family. She also enjoys reading, shopping, being outdoors, traveling, and meeting up with friends.
