Salt Lake City, UT – October 29, 2024 – Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences, joined by students, faculty, and staff, delivered Halloween magic to young patients at Primary Children’s Hospital for the sixth year in a row. This year’s drive was the largest yet with total donations exceeding 100% of the hospital’s needs. Donations of 775 costumes, 200 trick-or-treat buckets, 200 pounds of candy, and over 2,000 prizes were delivered to Primary Children’s Hospital by Joyce University staff, bringing festive fun to the hospitalized children.

“The annual Halloween Drive is a special way for us to give back each year, and we’re thankful to everyone who contributed to make this year’s event unforgettable,” said Dr. John Smith-Coppes, Joyce University President and CEO.

A drop-off location on campus facilitated donations from the university and the public, ensuring participation from all corners of the community. Since the initiative’s inception, Joyce University has proudly exceeded the hospital’s Halloween needs, spreading holiday magic and creating lasting memories for the children and their family members.
