Amy Repko Monson is an assistant professor of general education at Joyce University. She currently teaches anatomy and physiology labs and lectures.
Prior to becoming a physician’s assistant, Amy Repko Monson taught the anatomy cadaver lab at the University of Utah for three years.
Amy Repko Monson began working as a physician assistant in 2021 and has worked in family medicine and hormone therapy. She has also worked as a physical therapy aide and a Spanish translator at a physical therapy clinic.
Amy Repko Monson has volunteered at Primary Children’s Hospital.
Amy Repko Monson’s favorite part of working with students is the way individual backgrounds and experiences bring new perspectives to class. She loves seeing students connect course material to their lived experiences. Amy also loves helping students understand complex material and seeing their growth over the semester.
Amy Repko Monson has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Spanish language minor from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from West Liberty University.
When she isn’t at work, Amy Repko Monson loves chasing after her dogs, baking desserts, and training for bodybuilding shows with her husband.
