Brianne Cole is a simulation instructor. She assists nursing students in developing clinical skills using Joyce University’s high-fidelity simulations.
Brianne Cole has taught nursing since 2011. Her roles have included hospital preceptor, hospital educator, and adjunct nursing instructor. She has worked extensively teaching practical nursing skills in all these capacities.
Brianne Cole began her nursing career in 2008. She worked in medical-surgical and in a women’s care float pool that included pediatrics, postpartum, and NICU before specializing in labor and delivery.
Brianne Cole has researched, designed, and implemented a learning module aimed to lower risk of newborn abuse.
Brianne Cole’s favorite part of working with students is seeing them bring a unique perspective to a topic. She loves helping students understand difficult concepts and witnessing the lightbulb moment when it clicks.
Brianne Cole holds an associate degree in nursing from Rose State College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Nursing.
Brianne Cole enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and cuddling with her dogs.
