Dr. Leone is responsible for coordinating academic and administrative activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the nursing program.
Dr. Leone has taught nursing in higher education settings since 2013. Before that she worked as an RN NCLEX coach. She loves working with the next generations of nurses.
Dr. Leone has worked as a nurse since 2009. Her specialties include medical-surgical, pediatrics, and hospice.
Dr. Leone belongs to the National League for Nursing.
Dr. Leone’s favorite part of working with students is when she sees their enthusiasm and passion for caring for others. Her favorite part of her current job is being able to empower faculty to raise and maintain standards of excellence so that Joyce students receive optimal education and learning.
Dr. Leone has an ADN from Weber State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Leadership from Chamberlain University.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Leone likes to paint, read, and enjoy nature.
