Dr. Wilkins teaches Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Dr. Wilkins has worked in higher nursing education since 2017.
Dr. Wilkins has been a nurse since 1999. Past experiences include inpatient and outpatient patient care settings, case management and nursing education.
Dr. Wilkins belongs to the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the Massachusetts and Rhode Island League for Nursing, and the National League for Nursing.
Dr. Wilkins’s favorite thing about working with students is knowing that she is helping to prepare the next generation of nurses. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for psychiatric mental health nursing along with her experiences with students.
Dr. Wilkins earned an LPN certificate from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute in 1999. She has an ADN from North Shore Community College, a BSN from Salem State University, an MSN in Nursing Education from Endicott College, and a DNP from Regis College.
Dr. Wilkins spends most of her free time with her 3 sons, her husband, and her Labrador retrievers.
