Dr. Hazel Mariano is a medical doctor and a nurse with clinical experience in family medicine, ophthalmology, immunology, internal medicine, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, critical care, and hospice.
Dr. Mariano has participated in multiple medical missions with various organizations serving rural areas in the Philippines and Mexico.
Dr. Mariano loves getting students excited about their careers as healthcare professionals by encouraging them to venture out of their comfort zones and try hard things, and then witnessing their satisfaction when they achieve their goals. She enjoys getting to know and learning from her students through class discussions and interactions.
Dr. Hazel Mariano has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ateno de Manila University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Mariano is a firm believer that whatever we do — including work — we should always have fun. In her free time she loves playing sports, watching movies, trying new food with her husband, and dabbling in Fortnite with her kids.
