Dr. Koback is responsible for coordinating academic and administrative activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the nursing program.
Dr. Koback has been teaching nursing education in didactic, lab, and clinical settings since 2014. In 2018 she transitioned into a Dean of Nursing role. She joined Joyce University in December of 2022.
Dr. Koback worked in medical/surgical and pediatrics as a staff nurse, then charge nurse. She then moved into occupational medicine, where she focused on case management, compliance, jail nursing, and school nursing.
Dr. Koback’s avorite part of working with students is when she can see them make critical thinking connections. She also enjoys watching their development semester over semester. Her favorite part of her current role as the assistant director of nursing faculty is working to support faculty in their roles.
Dr. Koback has a BSN from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Clarie, an MSN with a healthcare leadership emphasis from Grand Canyon University, and a DNP with an executive leadership specialization from Rasmussen University.
Dr. Koback enjoys spending time with her family, going on adventures with them, attending their events, and chilling at home. She also enjoys taking pictures and scrapbooking.
