Lorene Johnson teaches and supervises students in the clinical setting.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Lorene spent most of her nursing career in the Burn Trauma ICU at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. She also works as an acute care nurse practitioner while teaching at Joyce University.

EDUCATION

Lorene holds a BSN and an MSN from the University of Utah.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Lorene likes watching students apply what they have learned in a clinical or hospital setting. She enjoys being in an acute care setting, working with nurses, instructors, patients, and the students.

PERSONAL INTEREST

Lorene enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren in the outdoors.
