CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

MaryAnn Cook worked as an OR nurse and surgical tech for 10 years. Additionally, she worked in an endoscopy clinic.

EDUCATION

MaryAnn holds an Associates in Nursing from Salt Lake Community College, and a BSN and MS from the University of Utah.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

MaryAnn is a passionate educator and enjoys seeing students gain new understanding and perspectives about the human body and the microbial world. Her favorite part about working with students is watching when a struggling student applies learning principles and succeeds.

PERSONAL INTEREST

MaryAnn enjoys spending time with family, especially her grandkids. She likes a quiet moment working in the garden, curling up with a good book, getting outside for a hike, and visiting the zoo.
