Nicole Ward is a professor of pathophysiology at Joyce University.
Nicole was a registered nurse at an inpatient oncology unit for 5 years. She then became that unit’s Nursing Professional Development Practitioner (clinical educator) before transitioning over to work at Joyce University.
Nicole Ward has been a member of the Compassionate Workplace committee during her time working at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Nicole’s favorite thing about working with students is forming relationships with them. She always strives to be somebody they can trust and come to for advice. She enjoys thinking of creative ways to teach information. There is nothing more rewarding than when students have that “aha” moment.
Nicole has a BSN from the University of Virginia and an MSN in nursing education from the University of Utah.
Nicole likes to run, hike, travel, and cook.
