OTAs make a living by applying therapeutic techniques to improve the lives of others, while enjoying a competitive salary and flexible hours. It’s no wonder that this growing field has been featured in the U.S. News & World Report, “100 Best Jobs of 2021.”
In 2021, top-earners with an OTA degree brought home over $80,210 per year, with a median annual wage of $61,730 per year.
Employment of occupational therapy assistants is projected to grow by 35% from 2019-2029, much faster than the average for all occupations* — and demand is expected to increase even more due to the aging baby boomer population.
